Specialist Notes:


If the user wishes to retake a course and receive an updated date of completion on their certificate, please provide the steps below. Note, the user may see a 'Request' button > 'Request' pop-up option or a 'Register' > 'Request' option. If neither are available, please escalate.


Standard Response:


To receive an updated certificate for a course you have previously completed, please ensure to follow these steps:

1. Log into your CLC account.

2. Once logged in, please use the search feature at the top right of your CLC home page to locate the course in the catalog.

3. From the search result page, click on the course title to select it. You will then be taken to the course details page.

4. From the course details page, please click on the 'Request' or 'Register' button. A pop-up window with the following message along with a 'Request' button should appear:

You have already completed this training. Click Request below to retake the training and receive a new completion date. Close this window and select Launch from the drop-down menu if you would like to review the completed training content (if available) without a new registration.

5. Please click on the 'Request' button.  The page will refresh, and you should see a 'Launch' button. 

6. Click the 'Launch' button to launch the course. 

After completion, you should receive an updated certificate.

IMPORTANT NOTE: 

  • If you launch the course from the Completed section of your Transcript, the certificate will not update. It is imperative that you follow the steps above to receive an updated certificate for courses that were previously completed.

If you do not see the 'Request' or 'Register' button after following the steps above, please let me know. I will need to create a ticket to request that the administrators manually assign the new instance to your account.
